Our Right Place, Right Time Grenache was crafted from hand-picked fruit from the only Grenache plantings on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. Once picked, the grenache grapes were fermented using only ambient yeast in a concrete tank and ceramic egg vessels.
After 3 weeks on skins, our Right Place, Right Time, Grenache was basket pressed then aged for 16 months in neutral French demi-muld and puncheon barrels, which allow expression of Grenache's beauitully aromatic fruit.
Bottled without fining or filtration, this wine will develop increased complexity with cellaring.
